Enter Dixie County on US 19 North by crossing the historic
Suwannee River.
Find the Nature Coast Rail State Park by going North on CR 349 at Old Town. Turn right at Hall Charles Road. (The City of Hawkinsville is near the railroad trestle).
Now travel South on CR 349 to the Town of Suwannee.
Return on CR 349 and turn North onto Dixie Mainline Trail.
CR 357 (West) will take you to Shired Island, then to Fishbone Creek.
