AUCILLA WMA

Hunting is popular in Jefferson County and the Aucilla WMA offers two areas where wild turkey, quail, wild hogs, deer and other game is plentiful.  All hunting is regulated so know seasons, limits and any restrictions applicable.

BOAT RAMPS

Four boat ramps are available within Aucilla Wildlife Management Area.

To reach the main entrance travel 3.5 miles east of the junction of Highways 59 and 98 at Western Sloughs.

Lake Miccosukee boat ramp is a one lane ramp with a parking lot accommodating 6 vehicles.  It is located on the right after crossing the bridge 6.5 miles west of Monticello on U. S. 90.
