ECONFINA RIVER STATE PARK

Located at the end of State Road 14, south of U.S. 98 in Lamont.
Equestrians must register with the office prior to using trails.

Nine miles of wooded trails through pine flatwoods, oaks and palm forests to salt marshes.

STEINHATCHEE FALLS

Located 1.75 miles south on SR 51 to Steinhatchee Fall Road.

Natural communities are floodplain swamp, bottomland forest, pine plantation and mixed hardwood forest.  The Steinhatchee Trail is a 3 mile, multi-use trail beginning at the trailhead on SR 51 and ending at Steinhatchee Falls.

CROSS FLORIDA GREENWAY

This 110 mile corridor (formerly known as the Cross Florida Barge Canal) stretches from the Gulf of Mexico to the St. Johns River. With many trails and recreation areas it is a popular venue to trailride through a variety of natural communities including longleaf pine sandhills, mixed hardwood and conifer forests and wet prairies on the western end.
