FOREST CAPITAL MUSEUM STATE PARK
204 Forest Park Drive • Perry, FL 32348

Forest Capital State Museum details the heritage and history of Florida's forest industry. Focusing on the longleaf pine and their products  the Visitor Center sits on 13 acres of longleaf pines over 50 years old.

The 1864 Cracker homestead adjacent to the museum is furnished with antiques from the late 1800's. A garden, corncrib, barn and other typcial outbuildings from this era complete the picture. 

Hours: Thursday - Monday 9am to 12pm; 1pm to 5pm. Closed Tuesday & Wednesday.

Admission Fees:Park Entrance is free.   Museum Entrance $1.00 Adults, Children under  6 are free.

KEATON BEACH COASTAL PARK

A 45 acre park adjacent to Keaton Beach Boat Ramp.  When complete facilities will include parking, picnic facilities, restrooms, nature trails, wildlife observation decks and more.

HAMPTON SPRINGS PARK

75 Acre historic park includes sidewalks, creek bridge, restrooms, equestrian facilities including corrals. Features one of Florida's original nine hole golf courses.

HODGES PARK AT KEATON BEACH

Two picnic pavilions overlook the Gulf

STEINHATCHEE COMMUNITY PARK & PIER PROJECT

"Fort" playground, restroom facilities, picnic pavilion, fishing pier.

 

DALLUS CREEK  PARK

Located at the mouth of Dallus Creek this park is located in a remote hammock and only reachable by walking down a cleared trail through needlerush.  The grassy area beneath live oaks is used by paddlers on the Big Bend Saltwater Paddling Trail for  primitive camping by permit only.
